Title: MongoDB with Spring Boot
Abstract: A light introduction to MongoDB and Java via Spring Boot. As MongoDB offers several ways to integrate via Java we will aim to show how Spring Boot is the best and the fastest way to integrate with MongoDB when using Java. In this session how to integrate MongoDB with Spring Boot. Topics will include the traditional CRUD topics as well as MongoDB Aggregation and how those topics can be approached using Spring Data. Along the way we will discuss smaller topics such as introducing MongoDB, how to install it (quickly) and exposing MongoDB to RESTful services.
Speaker Bio: Willhelm Lehman is Technical Architect and Co-Founder of IMWSoftware LLC. His focus and passion is on Java-based Microservices Architecture using Spring Cloud, Netflix OSS and Kafka. Willhelm uses Microservices Architecture along with MongoDB to develop products for CyberSecurity data sharing. Willhelm also consults companies on how to quickly adopt Microservices Architecture.
