Title: WebSockets Deep Dive
Abstract: Please welcome John Clingan for this Month's SDJUG meeting, where he will be doing a deep-dive websockets session. Perhaps a few slides, a lot of whiteboard and IDE coding. In particular, he will be covering JSR 356 - The Java API for WebSocket, an annotation-driven API for defining WebSocket services. He'll also have a couple of Java-related books to give away.
Bio: John Clingan is a Principal Product Manager on the GlassFish Server and Java EE product team at Oracle. John has more than 20 years of experience in building customer solutions based on C, Java, and Solaris. He also has 5 years of experience teaching Extended University Java courses to intellectually hungry Java students.
